Nokia MeeGo Released!
As announced earlier, Nokia has released its first MeeGo based phone. It features MeeGo OS 1.2. The new M-series will really be an alternative to Google Android based phones and iPhone 4. The Nokia M8 64GB has 412 dpi OLED screen, 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen and weighs just 162 grams. It features proximity sensor, accelerometer and 12 Megapixel camera. It also has 1 GHz Intel Atom Z600 processor and should provide excellent performance for any application.
The M6 version that has also been launched at the same time has 700 Mhz processor, 1 GB internal memory and nanoSD card slot with 16GB card included, expandable up to 64GB. The screen is 2.8 inches with 336 dpi screen. The camera is 5 Megapixels.

Both M8 and M6 support WiFi, 3G 7.2 Mbps, GPS and feature everything one would expect from a decent modern phone. It is bundled with Mozilla Firefox Mobile Edition with Flash Lite and support for Java Applets, Skype, Music and Video Player, Google Maps, OVI Store, Email Client, Chat Application with support for AOL, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk and more.
