…:::PageRank:::…

PageRank is a logarithm which analyzes a link by which google represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when a user visits and site and find a link nearby there then what may be the probability that the user is going to open a the following site. It is then easily notices by google because a normal user always use Google. Then the more probability that the user find and click in the link. This is all done with the help of google bots. The more page is visited the more will be its PageRank and  the more important the page must be because it is not sure that your PageRank will increase. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. Google calculates a page’s importance from the votes cast for it. How important each vote is is taken into account when a page’s PageRank is calculated. And it is not that you made a site and tomorrow your PageRank will surely increase. The Google bots first calculates all the happenings and update all the page rank every 3 Months.

OR

We can say it in our own words that PageRank is the mathematics of Probability that a random user can visit the following sites. PageRank is Google’s way of deciding a page’s importance. It matters because it is one of the factors that determines a page’s ranking in the search results. It isn’t the only factor that Google uses to rank pages, but it is an important one.

…:::Notes:::…

  • Not all links are counted by Google. For instance, they filter out links from known link farms. Some links can cause a site to be penalized by Google. They rightly figure that webmasters cannot control which sites link to their sites, but they can control which sites they link out to. For this reason, links into a site cannot harm the site, but links from a site can be harmful if they link to penalized sites. So be careful which sites you link to. If a site has PR 0, it is usually a penalty, and it would be unwise to link to it.
  • If you have a backlinks in a high PageRank in high site then your site rank would be just lesser than that of the main site.
  • You may notice that a site having PR (X) have its sub-page PR (X-1).
  • You can easily find the way to increase the PR i.e. “Increasing Network Traffic

    Thanks for this great info.
    And if we have page rank 0 is Google penalizing our site?
    I also have page rank “0″ of one of my site justtechnika.com!
    If so,
    Please write a new post with info on how to be safe from penalization of our site from Google.

    Google PageRank depends on the number of backlinks and PR of the website from where “do-follow” links come from a website. It doesn’t have any relation with visits that you have.

    @fr3ak
    Thanks for the website for PR checking. It was the fastest I ever experienced.
