[HIDDEN] Fourth dimension in Ubuntu with compiz effect
As we know, due to the desktop cube and rotate cube it is not hard to imagine about 3-Dimensions on the desktop. But what if I say that there exists another Dimension, yes I mean 4th Dimension. Students of physics, it is not the time. Its another dimension that beyond the physics. It was discovered by me during the regular use of my PC. I have been using Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 Beta 2 on my Core2Quad, with kernel “Linux 2.6.32-14-generic” downgraded from “Linux 2.6.32-16-generic” with 8 GB RAM, Graphics Card OnBoard Intel Graphics 320 MB. That was some sort of information that might concerned for me, but it work in my freind’s Desktop too.
Here is the video to Illustrate this:

[LEAKED] Code Name of Ubuntu 10.10
We have a leaked information from Cannonical. If we believe the leaked source, the name of Ubuntu 10.10 has been finalized. There have been lots of guesses about the name of Ubuntu 10.10 that you can find in the Ubuntu Wiki, but as from the leaked source its name has been already been chosen from the animal that is mostly found in North America. The name of the animal starting with M was set to been Meerkat. But the animal has a adjective codename that was more secret than that of the name of the animal. After some days of animal’s name leak, the adjective codename was leaked out to be Maverick. And hence the journey of Maverick Meerkat Ubuntu 10.10 has started with its name.
I don’t know why Maverick was chosen as the adjective codename for Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat, but I am guessing that Maverick was chosen because Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat will no longer offer CD version. I think it is a good decision since CDs are already passé and everyone has a DVD reader by now. With the DVD version one can choose to install one or more of Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Edubuntu, Xubuntu and Lubuntu.
Please discuss how you like the name.
